A while back, I wrote about some CBD skincare products that I had heard amazing things about and wanted to try out. It’s been about a month or so now, and I wanted to update you guys on how it’s been going! As I noted in the first article, I have suffered from adult acne for the last few years and haven’t been able to find any products that truly helped my skin, until now. Honestly, I haven't felt so secure in my own skin in some time and these products truly changed how I feel about it now.
Let’s start with the Herbivore Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil.
This was on every single list I looked at for best CBD products and now I know why. Within a few days of using this oil twice a day, I saw the difference in my skin. My pores began to close up and my skin finally got some hydration. I also felt that it helped with the redness in my skin and overall calmed my face down completely. Although it is pricey, I 100% recommend this for anyone who has adult acne.
The second item I purchased was the Cannuka Calming Eye Balm.
I have always extremely dark circles under my eyes, almost as if I don’t sleep, which is funny because I sleep a lot! Within a week of using this eye balm, my dark circles slowly started to disappear. This balm helped my under eyes feel moisturized, refreshed and protected. I never thought I’d see the day that happened to be honest. I figured that I would always look tired. This Cannuka eye balm was the perfect product to help reduce the darkness under my eyes and leave my skin feeling super soft.
The next item I started using is the CBD for Life Pure CBD Facial Cream.
This product is said to hydrate your skin and fight off dullness. I did find that it made my skin much more hydrated, but personally I felt it was maybe too heavy for my skin type. I do think if you have super dry skin, this is definitely the product for you, but for someone with combination skin, it was a bit much. However, the product itself is super soft and smells amazing, and I did feel that it was helping. I started using this only at night about halfway through the month, and I felt that was the perfect amount of this product for my skin.
The next item is the Origins Hello, Calm Relaxing & Hydrating Face Mask with Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil.
As I mentioned in my first post, I have used Origins products in the past and have always felt they were helpful with my skin, and this mask was no different. Enriched with vitamin E, hemp seed oil, rose hips oil, and grapeseed oil, this product is sure to make you feel rejuvenated. After the first use, I could feel my skin calming down from a long day of wearing makeup. I truly felt how hydrated this made my skin and could visibly see the redness in my skin reduced after each use.
Finally, I have been using the Lord Jones High CBD Formula Body Lotion.
This body lotion was also on every single list I looked at and the reviews made me feel optimistic. This lotion has made my skin feel so soft and helped a ton with the spots on my body where I have eczema. The lotion was rich and felt cool on my body every time I put it on. I got the fragrance free one because sometimes things with a fragrance don’t work as well for me, but if you love a fragrance, the reviews look promising. Thankfully this lotion worked wonders and I will definitely be buying it again.
Overall, the products I used have completely transformed my face into a more hydrated and smooth look to it. I would definitely recommend these products to people, but I'd also suggest doing your own research to see what products will work best with your skin type. I truly believe that CBD has changed my skin for the better and helped me gain some confidence back.
