She’s beauty, she’s grace, she’s queen of the 50 stares. That’s right, she’s Miss USA! The well-known DNA Genetics crossed Strawberry Banana and Kosher Dawg, creating this indica dominant hybrid known as Miss USA. When I saw this strain on KushaGram’s website, I knew I had to give it a try, and after doing some research and finding out that it can have a THC level of up to 30%, I was sold. All the reviews of Miss USA were very good so I was excited to get to try this strain for myself.

They gave me a huge package with tons of goodies since I was a first-time patient. It included three free joints, a grinder, and a lighter and came in this cute little package. Miss USA was trimmed nicely and was overall pretty to look at but was not anything special to me. It was forest green with small white crystals and some visible orange hairs. It was fluffy but looked put together, and had a ton of resin on it as well. The smell was pretty strong and very flavorful, having a flowery aroma to it with a hint of spice. The smell got even stronger as I broke up the weed and had a strong herbal aroma to it at this point. The weed broke up nicely but was sticky so a bit hard to grind up. The other thing I will say is that for the amount I ground up, I did not get a lot in return which is sometimes good because it usually means the weed is great and sometimes bad because it’s just a small amount.
Miss USA is said to help with depression, stress, migraines, and insomnia, which are all things I suffer from. When I smoked it, the taste blew me away. It was almost as if someone put spices on some fruit or flowers. It was sweet but spicy and herbal as well. I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first, but after a few hits, I was into it. I could feel the spices in my nose as I smoked this strain and I truly enjoyed that aspect of Miss USA. She really hit me hard and I immediately felt the strong body effects creeping up on me. As I continued to smoke, the effects got stronger and more prominent. I was instantly put into a great mood and felt stress-free.
The weed smoked smoothly, I didn’t cough or have any issues smoking this throughout the afternoon. I could smoke as much as I wanted, but luckily, I didn’t have to because the effects of Miss USA lasted a long time. I continuously felt happy and able to get work done without feeling tired. I would recommend that new smokers try this strain with caution because the effects did hit pretty hard without having to smoke a lot, but more experienced smokers will most likely love this strain after they try it.
I truly didn’t feel any downsides after smoking this strain, instead, I was super happy and ready to work. I sometimes struggle with depression and this strain totally knocked that out of me and made me feel great. I will surely be smoking this strain again in the future. Between the flavor and the aroma, plus the incredible effects of this strain, I am definitely a fan.
Miss USA gave me a strong body high that I could feel but wasn’t overwhelming at all. I wasn’t couch-locked or empty-minded, I was just at ease while I was working. I enjoyed that aspect of this strain very much because a lot of the time when you get a body high, it can knock you out, but with this strain, I was able to go through my day doing whatever I needed to do.
Overall, Miss USA is an incredible strain but definitely better for seasoned smokers. The effects hit quickly and instantly put you in a euphoric and calm state of mind. While Miss USA isn’t the prettiest weed I’ve ever seen, the smell and flavor made up for it. I would definitely recommend this to others who have depression or stress issues because for me it was a godsend. Miss USA may have beauty and grace, but she isn’t afraid to give you a psychedelic high with full-body effects.
